Zunka is a dry version of famous Pithala (another Maharashtrian delicacy). Zunka is a spicy and delicious preparation of Besan (gram flour).

This dish is made using mustard oil with cauliflower, potato and capsicum. This is a veg Indian dish and this dish tastes so delicious that you will want to eat more due to the use of mustard oil. Mustard oil is considered one of the healthiest oils as compared to other oils as it has optimum ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids and is low in saturated fats and high in MUFA.

This is a traditional konkani recipe regular in Karwari / Goan cuisine.  This dish is made using green gram or moong sprouts in a delicious coconut gravy which is tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves. This is a pure veg dish made without using

onion and garlic. Yet, this dish tastes so delicious that you will want to eat more.

This Recipe a delicious combination of Bhindi with Achari flavors cooked in yogurt curry, makes for a excellent combination. It is also perked up with a wide assortment of seeds and spice powders, which give it a super peppy flavor and aroma too. Yogurt and tomatoes are being added to Achari Sabji which give a double-tangy flavor to curry.

Raw/Tender Jackfruit Recipe is an aromatic and yummy sabzi that originates in Konkan region of Maharashtra, and you can make it dry or with gravy. I explored many new recipes, but I liked this Konkani style recipe and I adjusted the ingredients according to whichever were available to me. When the cubed jackfruit is cooked in turmeric and salt, the raw jackfruit pieces taste delicious. The coconut masala enriches the curry with all delectable flavors.

Achari Paneer has a thick pickled gravy, gives a very spicy and tangy flavour. It tastes vey delicious, mildly hot and spicy with unique flavors. Achari Paneer is often served with tandoori rotis and chapatis. This spicy Achari paneer wins people over with the soft texture of the paneer and the flavors of achar or pickle that it recreates using just a few whole spices!

Kolhapuri Akkha Masoor (Masoor Dal in Kolhapuri Masala) is traditional Maharashtrian recipe. Indians cannot live without our lentils especially the vegetarians. Lentils or Daals form the major part of staple food across India. This is a delicious rich dal made from whole red gram cooked in roasted and ground sesame seed and dry coconut.

A Rainy season vegetable; Kantola/Katrula is also known as spiny gourd or Teasel Gourd is a veggie which is loved by most for its unique taste and flavor. This Kantola sabji is packed with all the nutrition and health benefits. Kantola is rich in proteins and iron and is low in calories. It contains only 17cal/100g. It’s high in fiber and antioxidants, thus very good for easy digestion.
